The Big Give is BACK! One donation, twice the impact for Little Londoners!
We are thrilled to once again be part of The Big Give’s Champions for Children match funding campaign! Right now, thousands of children in London are facing the devastating effects of poverty, social isolation, and mental health struggles. Without intervention, these challenges can shape the course of their entire lives.
But with your help, we can change their story.
What Is The Big Give? (WHAT)
The Big Give’s Champions for Children is an annual match funding campaign organised by The Childhood Trust. It’s a massive opportunity for us to increase donations, all of which goes straight to supporting kids aged 8 - 11 experiencing poverty across London.
Last year, in just two weeks, we raised an outstanding £8,610 (£9,572 including Gift Aid), enabling us to support 273 Little Londoners.
How Does Donating Work? (HOW)
From Tuesday 3rd to Tuesday 17th June, every pound you donate via The Big Give website will be DOUBLED–meaning DOUBLE the impact for our Little Londoners!
One donation. Twice the impact. It’s that simple.
This year, we’re aiming to raise £12,500–enough to support 340 Little Londoners to live the lives they deserve. But remember: donations only double if made through the link below!

We are so grateful to The Childhood Trust, Winston & Strawn, and our generous Pledgers for making this match funding possible.
Your Donation, Doubled
Here’s how your gift can go twice as far:
- Donate £10 → We receive £20: Give a child like Dhillon access to two three-hour mentoring sessions that build happiness and resilience.
- Donate £17.50 → We receive £35: Fund a month’s activity budget for a child like Takunda, so they can explore new experiences in their local community with their mentor.
- Donate £25 → We receive £50: Provide a group mentoring session for up to 15 mentoring pairs, creating space for connection, fun, and shared learning.
- Donate £50 → We receive £100: Cover three months of activities for a child like Fatima, including visits to the cinema, a cafe, or getting creative with art supplies.
Why It Matters Now (NEED)
In London, two in five children live in poverty. Families are struggling with rising bills, cutting back on social activities, and, as a result, alarming numbers of children are lonely, unhappy, and stuck at home when not at school. Without support, these challenges can seriously harm a child’s health, happiness, social-emotional development, and education–both now and in the future.
The Kids Network supports children at the critical early ages of 8-11, providing weekly opportunities for fun, connection, and new experiences. These activities are proven to improve children’s mental health, happiness, confidence, and resilience.
By donating, you’ll help us reach more children who urgently need this support.

How Else Can I Get Involved? (FUNDRAISE)
Although the double donations window is just two weeks long, you can always fundraise outside of it. Anytime between now and then, you could host a cake sale, coffee morning, or dinner party.
Everything donated between Tuesday 3rd June and Tuesday 17th June counts as long as it goes through The Big Give website. This means you can hang onto the proceedings and donate during the campaign window!
Every donation helps us provide life-changing mentoring for more Little Londoners living in poverty, so thank you.
