About the Kids Network 

The Kids Network is an award-winning mental health charity that provides tailored early intervention for 8–11-year-olds who face the most pervasive barriers to accessing the support they need. 

We partner with over 50 primary schools in nine underserved boroughs to reach out to children in need through a programme of 1-2-1 mentoring. 

Our volunteer mentors from the local community, work with children over the course of a year to help them build confidence and resilience and realise their potential. 

Mentors get extensive safeguarding and mentoring training. The training is embedded in a trauma-informed and child-led approach to ensure the wellbeing of the child and greatest impact. 

Since 2016, we’ve matched over 1,000 little Londoners with mentors, providing them with enriching and life changing experiences. With your help, The Kids Network aims to reach 1,000 more children over the next three years.

TRUSTS FUNDRAISING MANAGER 

  • Salary £35-£38k (dependant on experience) 
  • Role Type: Permanant, Ful-time (35 hours per week) 
  • Reporting to: Director of Fundraising 
  • Location: London Office, Home-working or Hybrid 
  • At least two days once a month in London 

The Trust function is well established at The Kids Network, and we have a strong network of support from reputable foundations such as the National Lottery, Henry Smith Charity, Garfield Weston and John Lyon’s charity. 

As our Trusts Fundraising Manager, you will lead the delivery and development of our work growing income from local and national foundations, with a focus on five and six figure gifts. You will coach and support our Development Officer (Trusts) to ensure continued success. 

The goal of this role is to effectively steward our existing relationships and source new opportunities to expand our portfolio of supporters so we can scale our programmes for greater impact. 

ABOUT YOU: 

With a demonstrable track record, you will enjoy building strong relationships to reach ambitious targets. An expert in crafting compelling copy your communications skills will be put to task, initiating new partnerships and renewing and uplifting gifts.  

You’ll have proven experience raising funds from Foundations and securing four and five figure awards. You will be a persuasive advocate for The Kids Network, one the phone, in person and in writing; passionate about enabling life-enriching opportunities for London’s most in need kids.

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER 

  • Salary: £35-£38k (dependant on experience) 
  • Role Type: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week) 
  • Reporting to: The Director of Fundraising 
  • Location: Hybrid (London office and home working) 
  • Access to London for meetings/ corporate engagement 
  • Some evening and weekend work (TOIL provided) 

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be responsible for securing, developing and managing a portfolio of national and local corporates for the Kids Network to achieve growth in support, awareness and income from employees and businesses. 

You will be ambitious to generate new business and enjoy pitching our exciting corporate products to initiate new relationships. You will enable fun and meaningful engagement opportunities that generate income, offer mutual benefit and enhance our programmes. 

ABOUT YOU: 

We’re seeking a new-business oriented corporate specialist who will be comfortable approaching senior management in large national corporates and businesses local to where we work, who have an interest in helping London’s children to live the lives they deserve. 

You will need to be a fluent communicator, both verbally and in writing, and confident delivering a compelling pitch for support. 

You will have experience of corporate fundraising, or relevant experience in a target driven role, with an eye on donations over £10,000. You’ll enjoy building relationships with supporters and give excellent and enthusiastic account management with a real can-do attitude.
