GIVE A GIFT TO LITTLE LONDONERS THIS CHRISTMAS?
Right now, too many children in London are lonely, living in poverty and struggling to cope.
The Kids Network believes that every child deserves a happy childhood, so we provide a year-long programme of one-to-one mentoring for little Londoners aged 8-11 providing weekly opportunities for fun, connection, and new experiences.
We pair children with trained adult volunteers for weekly child-led mentoring sessions that are proven to improve children’s mental health, wellbeing, confidence and resilience.
Instead of sending a present or cards this year, could you give a child in London the gift of new experiences, happiness and fun?
“[Mentoring] makes your brain forget everything bad and just focus on the nice moments” – Aran*, Aged 9
Our £35 monthly activity budget allows every child we mentor to explore their community and their city and enjoy new activities that they might otherwise not have access to, from travelling to outdoor spaces; visiting museums and theatres; and buying creative kits to paint or draw.
Can you give £35 to give a little Londoner one month of fun, new adventures and experiences?
“I’ve had the best time with my mentor because I haven’t been outside that much. And on the weekends, I don’t go out, so I’ve had the best time of my life being able to go out” – Alecia*, Aged 10
With your help, together we can give little Londoners the support they really need, and provide opportunities for fun, new experiences this Christmas and throughout the year.
Thank you for supporting The Kids Network and helping us ensure that every child has a happy childhood.
